It’s that time of year again!
At Artmania, we are getting ready to finish up our winter classes and have opened registration for our Spring Break Camps!
Finishing up Our Winter Classes
Students in our school programs have explored the art of mixed media; dare I say mastered it? Their work is, indeed, amazing!
Excited to start the hand painted pillow project, the students created their own language inspired by ancient symbols and are waiting to hand paint secret messages on their pillows. The students are currently printing their fabric with interesting textures.
Spring Break Camps
We still have two more weeks left in our winter session, but it’s time to start thinking about Spring Break! Register your children for Artmania’s Crazy Mexican Folk Art and Picasso Portraits and Fabric Totes. Learn about the rich history of folk art produced in Oaxaca, Mexico. We will follow the steps to create unique animals based on this whimsical, cultural tradition passed down from generation, to generation. The Picasso Portraits and Fabric Totes class demonstrates the various artistic forms used by the painter. Create a multi-layered painting and print-make a fabric tote bag, inspired by some of Picasso’s most famous work. Join us for half day or full day.
