With spring comes rain, mud and a bit of sun. During our 2017 spring break camp young artists will explore the connection between art and nature through the use of a wide variety of materials such as sand, mud, paint, natural found objects and more!
Students will push the boundaries of traditional art materials and learn about famous artists who do the same ,such as painter Jackson Pollock, environmental sculpture by Andy Goldsworthy and organic architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
Young artists will learn new ways to create paint brushes, bowls, paint and 3d sculptures from natural found objects. They will also explore the fascinating world of organic architecture and how architects design structures that are in harmony with the natural environment.
Students will learn new painting and sculpture skills as they create unique works of art inspired by famous artists. They will then come away with a series of beautiful sculptures, paintings and natural materials from their new art mediums.
At artmania we have Unique morning and afternoon sculpture, painting and architecture lessons during both weeks of Spring break.
In each artmaina class, time will be set aside for games outside and in that will keep students moving and interacting with different materials.
