Art with nature

Our summers in BC are beautiful, we love to get outside and explore the beautiful area we live in. During our 2017 spring break camps we taught the connection artists use between art and nature using many natural materials. It was so popular; we’ve brought the theme back with all new lessons!

In this class students will go on excursions to Dundarave beach. We will explore the wonderful treasures the beach has to offer to collect found objects to use for their art work. Young artists will learn new ways to create paint brushes, clay and sand creations, paint and 3d sculptures from natural found objects.

Students will push the boundaries of traditional art materials and learn about famous artists who do the same. Let the objects dictate what you create, while our artmania teachers show you how to make one of a kind paintings and sculptures you will be proud to display in your home gallery.

Please be sure to send a snack and a bottle of water with your child to each day of the camp. We will be spending sometime of our classes learning & playing outdoors, so pack accordingly.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY:

artmania requires two weeks notice for camp & class cancellations.  We would be happy to provide credit towards a class of your choice. (There are no cash refunds.) Prices do not include tax.
