Our summers in BC are beautiful, we love to get outside and explore the beautiful area we live in. During our 2017 summer break afternoon camp young artists will explore the connection between art, architecture and nature through the use of a wide variety of materials such as sand, mud, paint, natural found objects and more! We taught this course in our spring break camps. It was so popular we’ve brought the theme back with all new lessons!

Students will go on field trips to our beautiful Dundarave beach. They will learn about famous artists that push the boundaries, such as environmental sculpture and many architects that explore natural and man-made materials in their buildings.

Our class will learn new ways to create 3d sculptures from natural found objects. They will also explore the fascinating world of organic architecture and how architects design structures that are in harmony with the natural environment.

Please be sure to send a snack and a bottle of water with your child to each day of the camp. We will be spending sometime of our classes learning & playing outdoors, so pack accordingly.
